-
We believe in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 3:16-17; John 14:16, 14:26, 16:5-7).
-
We believe that the Bible (in its original form) is the inspired, infallible, inerrant, authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21).
-
We believe that God created the world and everything in it (Genesis 1:1-31; Job 38:1-11; Psalm 139:13).
-
We believe that God gives us everything we need (John 4:10; Philippians 4:19; James 1:16-17).
-
We believe that God has given each Christian at least one spiritual gift (1 Corinthians 12:1-18; Romans 12:1-8; Ephesians 4:7-16; 1 Peter 4:10-11).
-
We believe that we are here to glorify our Lord (Psalm 148:1-14; Jeremiah 13:15-17; Matthew 5:13-16; John 9:1-3; Acts 12:23; Revelation 4:8-11).
-
We believe that, even though we have all sinned and we all still stumble, it is not possible for true Christians to knowingly continue in an actively sinful lifestyle (Romans 3:21-24; Hebrews 10:26-32; 1 John 1:5-2:6, 3:4-10).
-
We believe that, if people ignore God long enough, He will cease to listen to them while turning them over to their evil cravings (Jeremiah 7:16, 11:14; John 9:31; Romans 1:18-32; James 4:1-4; 1 Corinthians 10:6-16). However, we also believe that no one is beyond the saving, redemptive "grace and truth realized through Jesus Christ" our Lord (Exodus 33:18-19; John 1:16-17; Acts 15:11).
-
We believe that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6) and that His truth shall set us free (John 8:31-32; 2 Corinthians 3:17).
-
We believe that "the intent of man's heart is evil from his youth" (Genesis 6:5-6, 8:21) and that there is only one name in which we can be saved (Acts 4:12; Romans 1:16, 3:21-24; Hebrews 10:19-22; 1 John 2:1-2).
-
We believe that God wants us to do everything we can to take the saving message of Christ to everyone who has not heard of His name "making disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that [Jesus] commanded" (Matthew 28:18-20).
-
We believe that we don’t change the message; rather, instead, the message changes us (Romans 12:2; Philippians 4:8-9; 1 John 1:6-7, 2:3-6, 3:9).
-
We believe that good works cannot save anyone if they are done without faith and we believe that "faith, if it has no works, is dead" (Matthew 7:15-23; Matthew 15:7-20; Romans 3:27-31; Galatians 2:16-21; Ephesians 2:8-9; James 2:14-27).
-
We believe that Christians will suffer and be persecuted for His name’s sake (Matthew 5:10-12, 23:34-34; Luke 21:10-17; John 15:18-27; 2 Thessalonians 1:4-8; 1 Peter 4:12-19). But, we believe that God will never allow us to carry a cross that is too heavy for us to bear (Joshua 1:9; Psalm 34:17-18; 1 Corinthians 10:12-16; Ephesians 6:10-17; Philippians 4:11-13).
-
We believe that God’s plans are bigger than our plans (Job 2:9-10; Jeremiah 1:5, 29:11-13; Matthew 6:25-34; John 3:27; Romans 8:28; Philippians 4:6-7).
-
We believe that being single is not a disease and it does not mean that we are broken, damaged, less responsible or less worthy than people who are married (1 Corinthians 7:32-36).
-
We believe that Jesus loves the little children… and the big adults as well (Matthew 7:7-12; John 3:16-21; Romans 8:38-39; Ephesians 5:1; Colossians 3:12-17; 1 John 4:7-8, 19).
“Oh that my words were written!
Oh that they were inscribed in a book!
That with an iron stylus and lead
They were engraved in the rock forever!
As for me, I know that my Redeemer lives,
And at the last He will take His stand on the earth.
Even after my skin is destroyed,
Yet from my flesh I shall see God” (Job 19:23-26).
